February 2026

Dear Members, Suppliers, Directors, and Team,

February is a great reminder of what makes our network strong – it’s the people behind it.

From local suppliers supporting one another in business, to young people stepping confidently into their futures, the strength of our region always comes back to connection.

Have you had a chance to explore our Supplier Directory lately?

Every listing represents a local business choosing to be part of something bigger – working together, keeping supply local, and strengthening our regional economy. When members source within the directory, it keeps opportunities circulating here in Esperance and reinforces the relationships that make our business community resilient.

And that same spirit of backing local extends beyond business.

We’re incredibly proud to share an update on Tegan MacKenzie, our 2023 Agricultural Scholarship recipient, who attended Denmark Agricultural College in 2024 and 2025.

On Friday 21st November, Tegan celebrated her Graduation Day – and her achievements were outstanding. She received:

  • Highest Achiever in Basic Beekeeping (VET subject)
  • Highest Achiever in English
  • Recognition for Outstanding Contribution to Residential Life
  • The Australian Defence Force Long Tan Youth Leadership and Teamwork Award

These awards reflect not only academic success, but leadership, contribution, and character. Tegan’s parents shared how grateful they are for the opportunity the scholarship provided, explaining that it allowed her to truly find her space and flourish.

It’s a powerful reminder that when we invest locally – whether through business networks or supporting young people – the impact carries forward.

Check Out Our February Supplier Spotlight

This month, our Supplier Spotlight highlights Wicked Welding, a locally owned workshop that has grown from a small Harbour Road shed into a trusted provider of aluminium and stainless steel fabrication in Esperance.

Established in 2012, the team has built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, in-house CNC cutting and engraving, and custom aluminium solutions, including their well-known ute trays and canopies. Guided by integrity, reliability, and personalised service, they continue to support local businesses across the region.

We hope you enjoy reading more about their journey and the people behind the workshop.

Warm regards,

This month, our Supplier Spotlight shines on Wicked Welding a locally owned workshop that has grown from a small Harbour Road shed into one of Esperance’s trusted aluminium and stainless steel fabricators.

Established in 2012, the business was built from scratch with a genuine passion for welding and a clear focus on quality workmanship. Since relocating to Norseman Road in 2016, the team has continued to expand their workshop capabilities, including in-house CNC router cutting and custom aluminium fabrication that sets them apart locally.

Known for their hands-on approach, honest advice, and reliable turnaround times, Wicked Welding & Fabrication has built a reputation for work that stands the test of time.

We also highlight the people behind the workshop, including third-year apprentice Hayden Mckeown, and explore their experience as an EOPP Supplier.
