Sco-op
October 2025Dear Members, Suppliers, Directors, and Team,
Harvest is here, and we know it’s one of the busiest and most demanding times of the year for our farming community. Long days, big decisions, and the pressure to get the job done safely all come together in these next few months.
In this edition, we’re sharing insights from Danielle McNamee of ProcessWorxAg on setting the standard for a safe harvest – with practical reminders to stay proactive, not reactive, when it comes to safety, fatigue management, and team wellbeing.
We also recap our recent EOPP events, including the Succession Planning Workshop run by AgKnowledge – a well-attended and highly collaborative day – and our Annual General Meeting, where Glen Williams was awarded Life Membership for his long-standing contribution to the Co-operative.
As we head into this busy season, we’d like to thank all members and suppliers for your continued commitment to supporting one another and keeping safety front of mind.
Wishing everyone a productive, smooth, and safe harvest ahead

Proactive, Not Reactive – Setting the Standard for a Safe Harvest
With Danielle McNamee, Director of ProcessWorx & ProcessWorxAg
Harvest is a high-pressure time – long hours, fatigue, and machinery running flat out. HR and WHS specialist Danielle McNamee reminded us that protecting your people protects your business.
From documenting safety conversations to managing fatigue and building trust, Danielle’s message was clear: being proactive about safety isn’t red tape – it’s leadership.
A simple risk register and clear safe systems of work can make all the difference to a safer, smoother harvest.
This month, we celebrated the incredible women who keep our rural communities thriving.
