If you are a Year 11 or Year 12 student with an interest in agriculture, this scholarship could help you take the next step.
The EOPP Agricultural Scholarship supports eligible students from the Esperance Port Zone who are studying at a registered WA College of Agriculture in 2026.
Whether you are interested in farming, agribusiness, livestock, cropping, machinery, agricultural science or another ag-aligned pathway, this scholarship is here to support students who are ready to learn, grow and be part of the future of agriculture.

Developing Young Local Talent
The EOPP Agricultural Scholarship has been created to support young people in the Esperance Port Zone who are ready to build a future in agriculture or an ag-aligned industry.
We know the cost of education can be a challenge for regional families. This scholarship helps support eligible Year 11 and Year 12 students studying at a registered WA College of Agriculture, giving them the opportunity to continue developing their skills, confidence and pathway into the industry.
By investing in local students, EOPP is helping support the next generation of rural leaders and the future of agriculture in our region.
EOPP Scholarship Details
$10,000 Scholarship
Eligible students entering Year 11 may receive a $10,000 scholarship, paid as $2,500 per semester across four semesters.
Year 12 Entry Available
Students entering Year 12 may also apply and may be eligible for a $5,000 scholarship, paid across two semesters.
Paid Direct to the College
Scholarship funds are paid directly to the college and used towards school and boarding fees.
Extra Learning Support
If there are surplus funds, these may be approved by the Scholarship Selection Panel for learning activities connected to the objectives of the scholarship.
Who Can Apply?
This scholarship may be a good fit if you are a student who is keen to continue your agricultural studies and take the next step towards a future in the industry.
Students may be eligible to apply if they:
- Are enrolled to study Year 11 or Year 12 at a registered WA College of Agriculture in 2026
- Reside in the Esperance Port Zone
- Are not receiving Assistance for Isolated Children allowances

What We Are Looking For
The EOPP Scholarship is for students who are motivated, willing to learn and genuinely interested in agriculture.
Applicants will need to show:
- A diligent and dedicated approach to their studies and agricultural pursuits
- A strong interest in agricultural studies
- A clear intention to pursue a career in agriculture or an ag-aligned industry
You do not need to have everything figured out yet. We are looking for students who are committed, curious and ready to keep building their skills.

How to Apply
To apply, students will need to write a covering application letter that addresses the selection criteria.
You will also need to include:
- school reports from at least the last three semesters
- a current CV outlining your study and work experience
- two references, which may include an employer, teacher or character reference from someone outside your family
Your application does not need to be complicated. It simply needs to show who you are, what you are interested in, and why agriculture matters to you.
